Not just a lawyer, Attorney DeRose has served her community generously, registering voters for the League of Women Voters, acting as President of the St. Joseph County Bar Association (2008-2009), serving as chair of several Bar Committees, regularly providing legal service through Volunteer Lawyer Network, and engaging in many other community service activities. She served many years as an attorney in the City of South Bend’s Legal Department while also maintaining her private law practice
